Daily Run: A Reason to Love Tuesdays

August 26, 2008 at 9:44 pm | Posted in Daily Run | Leave a comment

Time of Day: 5:55 AM

Weather: Fair. A clear sky made it less dark.

Duration: 62 min.

Estimated Distance (based on assumed pace of 7:35/mile): 8.18 miles (fast today, probably more)

Notes: One of my incentives to make myself take a day off running is to remember how well I run the next day. A day off is good for me both mentally and physically, and the next morning I head out the door with renewed excitement for running and legs that are ready to run fast.

So, I ran fast today and pushed myself up the last big hill even though I was tiring by then. And it was a glorious Tuesday morning.

And then I had to go shove my poor little legs under my desk at work. I am way too active for this type of job.

Along those lines, I talked to a personal trainer about doing some shadowing with her, starting next week. I can’t wait!
