Food for Fuel: Collina’s Italian Cafe

January 5, 2009 at 10:02 am | Posted in Food, Pizza, Restaurants | 2 Comments

MSB and I tried a great restaurant on Saturday night: Collina’s Italian Cafe in the Rice Village area of Houston. Collina’s is known for their pizza, so pizza lovers that we are, we got a nice big one.

First, however, we split the Mista Terra salad.

I love salads with a good variety of veggies! This one had the usual, but also had pepperoncinis, roasted bell peppers, and eggplant. And most importantly, tons of feta cheese. Yum!

We also shared a pizza with meatballs and basil. We got the 16″ pie because it was the medium size, but we only ate half. That’s ok, because it was delicious enough to take home with us.

Definitely a quality pizza place. I hope to go back soon.

  1. My stomach is growling.

Reminding me that amidst pounds and pounds of holiday fudge, cookies, cake, lasagna, breads, and pies, I didn’t eat a single slice of pizza.

  2. Looks yummy. I love browned cheese.
